Our standard
A promise to
work toward.
Most of luxury is certainty. These are the standards we intend to hold ourselves to. None is in place yet, and we will say so until it is.
Clear before committed
Fees, nights, booking rules and cancellation terms would be written in plain language and shared before anyone is asked to commit. No fine print that arrives later.
Places that meet a standard
We would write down what a property needs to be part of the collection: safety, comfort, cleanliness, privacy and the quality of the setting. A place that falls short would not be added.
Care around the stay
A named person who knows you are coming, a home that is ready, and someone to call if something is wrong. The detail of what this means is part of the service model still being built. See the service philosophy.
Honest about what is not ready
This site labels every idea that is not yet true. When something becomes real, we would say so, and show the evidence.
Private by design
Members would not be listed or named. Any information collected would be explained, kept to what is needed and handled under a published privacy policy.
Fair when plans change
Rules for changes, cancellations and unused nights would be set out before joining, and applied the same way for everyone.
What we will publish before opening
The full agreement, the confirmed collection, how booking works, how fees are charged and how a member can leave. We would expect any member to be able to read all of it first.
No standard on this page is in place. Almajour is in development, and nothing here is a promise of service.
